Mail Butler is a dedicated Premium email service for
those who demand a service that is 100% spam free,

How are you different?

ability is to provide a 100% solution to a smaller number

that your email is held unencrypted and in plain text
format, world-readable, on their servers - usually

providing hidden clues to your location, the software on
your computer, and the layout of your personal network -

Do I have to change my email address to use you?
Only if you want to. In many cases, particularly if you're
using a large public provider, we do recommend you
change your published email address to access the
full security and feature benefits of a Mail Butler acount.

Your monthly subscription pays for registering and

If I switch to Mail Butler do I have to change ISP?
Usually not. If we think your current ISP has poor facilities,
poor security or does not co-operate - we'll tell you so

Do I need an ISP to use Mail Butler?
No. We can provide a highly reliable dial-up service
free of charge, for the collection and delivery of your
email. You can use this to surf the internet as well. (top)

What is mail cloaking?
If you want to publish your email address so people can
email you, but you don't want to give people your real email
address this is for you. Mail Butler will provide you with the
code to place on your web pages to generate a new
untraceable email address every time the page is viewed.
These 'temporary' email addresses then go to the Mail
Butler where they are treated according to your instructions.

What happens after I join?
For normal Mail Butler Service, we will exchange your
pop3 or imap log-on settings for some new ones we
provide. We then collect your mail on your behalf every
few seconds, scan it, encrypt and archive the spam - and
place the remainder in a new secure pop3 mailbox on our
secure server ready for collection. We then also deliver the
mail to you according to your personal instructions.

For Mail Butler Secret Service, we work with your current
ISP to change your current MX records to point to our
main and back-up mail servers. The mail is then scanned
and stripped of all spam, virus and trojans, optionally
encrypted with your public PGP key and placed in your
mailbox for collection or delivered according to your
personal instructions.

This means that any two people can converse securely.

What encryption do you use?
All encryption is done using international PGP - We
provide you the tools to generate a pair of 'keys' one of
which is held securely on your PC, the other you pass
to us. We use this key to encrypt your mail if you request
that we do so. Without your half of the key-pair, your mail
